How to buy $DUB Tokens

Pancakeswap V1

1) Download MetaMask or Trust Wallet

2) Purchase Binance Tokens (BNB) and send them to your MetaMask or Trust Wallet. Note; this needs to be done on the BSC Network

3) On the home page of Dubplate.trade click on "Purchase Tokens" button. This will open a Dapp Exchange Called "PancakeSwap".

4) A popup will open, click the check box "I understand", this will load $DUB into PancakeSwap.

5) Make sure your MetaMask Wallet or Trust Wallet Is synced with PancakeSwap.

6) Set the amount of $DUB you would like to purchase.

DUB Token is on the Binance Smart Chain platform and fully comply with BEP-20* standard.

Support of this standard guarantees the compatibility of the token with third-party services (wallets, exchanges, listings, etc.), reduces transaction fees and transaction times. Herewith, the use of DUB token is not limited to just the platform ecosystem.

Functions of $DUB Token

A Governance Token – Holding the token allows users to make key decision on the project, with a voting function that is weighted based on the number of tokens you hold
A Reward System – Whether it be through Liquidity Mining or simply holding, you will be able to earn more $DUB both through smart contracts which redistribute tokens to token holders from NFT sales, and from Liquidity Mining by staking the token
A Currency – We understand that users may not want to exchange their Ethereum for $DUB, so a number of currencies will be available on the platform, including $DUB

What is an NFT?

An NFT can be considered proof of ownership, for example; proving you own digital art, a property or even the right to listen to a song. Dubplate Trade is committed to bringing the concept of digital ownership into the music world. This will allow artists to easily create digital ownership for some of their most exclusive tracks. By using Dubplate Trade you can directly support your favourite artists and listen to some of the rarest tracks, all in once place.

As an NFT is similar to owning a physical asset in the real world, they can be traded and collected just like you would with vinyl records. The beauty of NFTs is they can be traded almost instantly to an every growing community of tech & music aficionados. While still an emerging technology, NFTs have proven to be extremely popular in recent months, with some selling for 10s of millions of dollars. Due to the decentralised nature of Blockchain anyone is free to mint & trade Dubplates through Dubplate Trade.

What are NFT Dubplates for?

Dubplate Trade NFTs are built on Ethereum’s ERC-1155 token standard, give the owner exclusive rights to listen to uniquely numbered unreleased tracks from all of your favourite artists. Using our exclusive anti-theft technology, only the owner of the Dubplate may listen to the corresponding song. You can imagine collecting Dubplates to be similar to collecting rare vinyl records, without the risk of purchasing fake tracks or damaged records.

What is the $DUB Token for?

The $DUB Token will be a Governance Token, allowing the community to vote on and control the direction of the project. The $DUB Token will also offer a profit share to Token Holders from each NFT Sale. We do not burn tokens as we believe we are creating a sustainable economy for a revolution in the music industry. The harnessing of blockchain technology protects artists, fans and exclusive collectibles, on a decentralised application available to everyone.
